Oh hey, you found me!
I’m Petunia, a two-year-old Papillon, professional good girl, and certified service dog to Catherine at My Bark Avenue Academy. I trained here, I work here, and yes, I win a lot of blue ribbons in obedience competitions. (Not to brag, but I have quite the collection.)
When I’m not being a total superstar in the ring, I help out at My Bark, welcoming new dogs and showing them the ropes. I also volunteer as a therapy dog at the hospital because making people smile makes me happy.
I have another very important job, too. I’m certified as Catherine’s service dog through Beyond the Vest, where I learned everything I need to be by her side, no matter where we go. Whether we’re at My Bark, running errands, or off traveling somewhere new, life with Catherine is full of adventure.
When I’m off duty, you’ll find me indulging in my favourite pastime: Squirrel TV. The drama. The suspense. The high-speed chases. Riveting! My best friend, Ladybug, and I also have some of the best playdates ever recorded in history.
People stop Catherine and me all the time to ask about my training, my job, my secrets to success - and, let’s be honest, to tell me I’m cute. They’re not wrong.
But now that we’re officially friends, I hope you’ll stop by My Bark with your dog and say hello. I’ll be here, ready to welcome them - and if you happen to give me a belly rub while you’re at it, well… I won’t say no.
