Would you like to learn new skills with your dog but are a bit nervous? What if we told you that there are many people just like you?
Working one-on-one with a trainer with 40 years of experience is time well spent with your dog to guide them towards positive behaviours. A Private Lesson is perfect for the first-timer or if you and your dog need a little refresher following previous training.
Each family and each dog is different and will require the right approach, methods and techniques to suit your situation. We will find out about your lifestyle, your personalities, your dog's temperament and what’s going wrong.
The amount of effort and time you invest in between classes (usually held weekly or more), will help you and your dog make great improvements in a very short time, especially when the homework is adhered to.
We don’t keep you to a strict routine, if something pops up we can schedule your next appointment when it suits you.

"One fifteen minute lesson changed everything!"
This is Oliver, he's a young Maltese cross. Watch as his owner breaks down in tears as she talks with me about how she feels about what she sees with her dog in only fifteen minutes of working with me.
This desperate owner called me and said that they had been taking private lessons with another trainer for over five weeks and that she was still very unhappy with her dog's behaviour. She told me that he would bark constantly when he saw people, other animals or even birds. She had been encouraged by the other trainer to reward with treats but to also use very strong correction using a slip leash. She said that there was some improvement, but it is what she told me the trainer told her she needed to get him that shocked me. This video was taken after I had worked with her and Oliver for only fifteen minutes and she has given me permission to share this with you. |
